Suzuki will halt production at its factory in Hungary for two weeks in September due to a global shortage of microchips.
The plant in Esztergom will suspend production from 6 September to 8 September, a Suzuki Spokesperson told news agency MTI on 31 August.
The factory builds the Vitara and SX4 S-Cross SUVs. In 2020 it produced 112,475 vehicles, according to the Suzuki Hungary website.
