The vehicle logistics expert Hödlmayr International AG started the second half of the year with serious changes. Andreas Sundl takes over the Board's agendas from the long-time COO (Chief Operating Officer) Martin Wilflingseder. Robert Horvath, CFO (Chief Financial Officer), was reappointed and Wolfgang Niessner is returning to the Supervisory Board.
Because of a difference of opinions with regard to the strategic alignment of the Group, Wilflingseder left the company on 30 June 2021. The chair of the supervisory board, Johannes Hödlmayr, expresses his thanks to Wilflingseder on behalf of all the shareholders for his excellent work over the last 15 years. “With Andreas Sundl, an excellent Manager is taking over the COO position on 1 July 2021. In the last few years, Mr Sundl has impressively proven his extreme professionalism and loyalty and I am certain that he and Robert Horvath, with the support of all the stakeholders, will keep the company on its successful path and make it even stronger with new impetus,” stresses Hödlmayr.
Sundl will not only be taking over the operative agenda, but will also have overall responsibility for the sales work. In addition to Finance, Controlling, Legal, HR, IT and Purchasing, Horvath will be responsible for Marketing and Communication within the framework of the Board of Directors.
Johannes Alexander Hödlmayr is appointed as Sundl’s successor as Managing Director of Hödlmayr Logistics GmbH, the largest subsidiary in the Group, who therefore becomes responsible not only for “High & Heavy”, but also for the Austrian business.
We have set ourselves ambitious goals and I am confident that we will achieve them. We have a solid basis and, above all, excellent employees who ultimately make all the difference in the service”, stresses Hödlmayr in conclusion.
