ECG - The Association of European Vehicle Logistics welcomes its new Board which was elected on 9 June at its annual General Assembly.

Although ECG had hoped to organise a physical event this was not possible due to the ongoing circumstances. So, the meeting was once again held online and this year the participants enjoyed a slightly different format with external speakers and opportunities to network online.

Almost 150 members and partners joined the meeting and unanimously (re)-elected the Board for a term of one year and welcomed one new board member and one returning.

The President Wolfgang Göbel, Chief Sales Officer, Mosolf SE & Co. KG, and Vice-President Bjorn Svenningsen, Director Sales & Marketing, UECC are in the middle of a 2-year term.

Other board members serve a one-year term at ECG and the following stood again and were duly re-elected: Marc Adriansens (ICO), Serge Agneray (Groupe Charles André), Costantino Baldissara (Grimaldi Group); Andrew Bauer (BLG Automobile Logistics), Krzysztof Dakowicz (Adampol), Mats Eriksson (Axess Logistics), Mark Hindley (BCA), Antoine Redier (Tramosa), Ömer Gürsoy (Me-Par), Paul Steininger (Hödlmayr International) and Xavier Vazquez (Noatum Terminals).

Olivier Benguigui (GEFCO) was a returning candidate having stood down in 2018.

Nikos Paterakis (Neptune Lines), a new candidate, was also elected. Nikos is a longstanding active member of ECG. During the General Assembly, he shared his promising vision for the Association. This brings the ECG board up to its full strength of 15 members.

Finally, Emmanuel Arnaud (GEFCO) was honoured with an ECG Silver Pin as a board member stepping down. Marc Adriansens (ICO) was also honoured with an ECG Golden Pin in recognition of 5 years on the Board. The President, Wolfgang Göbel (Mosolf SE & Co. KG), thanked both warmly on behalf of the Association for their service and commitment.
