In 2014 the ECG Board proposed a Code of Conduct for ECG members. In May 2014 the members voted unanimously to adopt this code at the annual General Assembly held in Athens. The purpose is to satisfy the increasing demands of the customers of the sector for evidence of compliance with the plethora of regulations governing everything from business ethics to environmental waste. This Code is thus a tangible benefit to the members of the association as we expect that this will become a recognised and respected form of commitment to key policies and regulations.
The ECG Board see the Code of Conduct as a living document that will evolve, with the agreement of the members, to recognise new requirements and to serve the changing needs of the membership.
